Ingredients
Organic Rolled Oats - Easily digestible protein source, Oats are also rich in B vitamins, and contain the anti-oxidant vitamin E, they are also mineral rich. A taste loved by horses for centuries.

Organic Pearled Barley - contains twice as many fatty acids as wheat, and has vitamin E. Barley contains more thiamin, riboflavin and more lysine than wheat, giving barley a more balanced protein.

Organic Agave Nectar - The latest buzz in sweetners. Because Agave syrup is high in fructose, it offers all the benefits which make fructose a preferred sweetening agent. Fructose does not stimulate digestive insulin secretion, as do other sugars, in other words, it does not create a "sugar rush." It has both organic and kosher certification, is gluten and allergen free, and has a low Glycemic Index.

Organic Flax Seed - has some truly amazing nutritional characteristics. It is most noted for it’s high levels of LNA, lignans and fiber. It also contains high amounts of vitamin E, folacin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6 and is extremely high in the minerals potassium, calcium and phosphorus. It is also thought that LNA works with flax’s other nutrients to help bring about this effect in reducing inflammation, besides helping with a shiny coat.

Organic Blue Green Algae - contains live-source vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, chlorophyll, essential fatty acids and enzymes. In this regard, it is an extraordinary multi-vitamin with a naturally balanced nutrient profile. It contains neuro-peptides for super brain cell and nerve cell communication not found in any other product. Horses could live on this and thrive. Blue Green is rich in B-12 and vitamin A, important for health of liver, skin, nerves, brain, muscles and energy.
More importantly, the nutrients in Blue Green Algae will nourish and support the brain of the horse like no other food or nutritional product. Horses eating Blue Green Algae should be more calm and relaxed but have exceptional energy reserves for trotting and galloping. Horses eating Blue Green Algae will be happy and able to pay attention more easily and should demonstrate a more stable demeanor if they previously behaved a little rambunctious. It's so good we take it too!

One or more flavors contain:

Organic Whole Wheat Stone Ground flour - -Naturally sodium and cholesterol free, low fat, and a good fiber source, our stone ground whole wheat is a true American grain staple.

Organic Oat flour -- hearty, whole-grain flour. It blows away typical white flour when it comes to health benefits. (Oats contain soluble fiber which has been shown to reduce bad cholesterol and improve heart health

Organic Apples - That old saying may be true, an apple a day. The nutritional stars in apples are fiber, flavonoids, and fructose which translate into apples' ability to keep us healthy. Almost all of their natural sweetness comes from fructose, a simple sugar, but one which is broken down slowly, especially when combined with apples' hefty dose of fiber, thus helping to keep blood sugar levels stable.

Organic Apple Juice - Compounds in apples and apple juice called phytonutrients act in much the same way that red wine and tea do to delay the break down of LDL or "bad" cholesterol.

Organic Carrots - Carrots are an excellent source of antioxidant compounds, and the richest vegetable source of the pro-vitamin A carotenes. Carrots' antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and also promote good vision, especially night vision

Organic Dried Cherries and/or Organic Black Cherry Juice - Not Just Another Berry. The New Antioxidant "Super Fruit". A growing body of science reveals tart cherries, enjoyed as dried and frozen cherries and cherry juice, have among the highest levels of disease-fighting antioxidants, when compared to other fruits. They also contain other important nutrients such as beta carotene (19 times as much as blueberries or strawberries) vitamins C, potassium, magnesium, iron, fiber and folate.

Organic Bananas / Banana juice - Rich in vitamin B6 and good source of fiber, Vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Potassuim is also essential for helping muscles to contract properly during exercise and reduces cramping. They are easy to digest.

Organic Raisins - Raisins are a good source of iron, potassium and selenium and also contain vitamin A and some vitamin B. Raisins are also rich in fiber.

Organic Fenugreek - Recent studies have shown that fenugreek helps lower blood glucose levels. Today many herbalists recommend fenugreek to help promote the healing of wounds, rashes, and recent studies have shown fenugreek to be an anti-inflammatory. Fenugreek seeds contain a lot of mucilage, which helps sooth gastrointestinal inflammation by coating the lining of the stomach and intestine.

Organic Rosemary - is a well-known culinary herb, you may not be aware that rosemary extract has a long history of medicinal uses too. It has been used to treat a wide range of ailments, including stomach upsets, digestive disorders and headaches. Recent research is now revealing even more benefits attached to this remarkable herb...two of the most important ingredients in rosemary, which are thought to be largely responsible for many of these therapeutic actions, are caffeic acid and rosemarinic acid - both are potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents.
